Following a move to a place with more sun, I began acquiring houseplants to take advantage of the open windowsills. As I worked through sketches to final pieces, it was very clear that the shapes of the plants echoed a human personality, some times dramatically so, guiding me to the title. Since the original (and likely ongoing) series with my own plants, I've extended it to others based in various locales.
